The big society?
I want to start this vaguely political blog by stating that this isn't a political blog, even though this post....you get the point.

Hit the right note – the music video
Once upon a time you could promote your band’s music with a small investment from reluctant loved ones and the help of a gifted (and massively well connected) producer.
The 80s and MTV changed that and suddenly to succeed you needed a music video.
Whether it was Bauhaus brooding about a dead Hollywood vampiric actor, or Simon Le Bon dangling precariously off the edge of a very fast moving yacht, banging on about some woman called Rio, everyone recognised the importance of a good music video.
Tired of turkey
Don't know about you, but the thought of turkey leaves me cold, all that dry white meat doesn't really compare to a succulent rare fillet steak.
But changing the Christmas menu is controversial. Seems most people are happy to observe the traditional meal and keep quiet about this quite tasteless bird.
This was driven home to me recently when I edited up a film on one alternative Christmas meal - Pounded yam and spinach soup.
